In depth

Verdict

Bouttemont, a consistent performer in France, seems best over a bit further and there are numerous course and distance winners in the line-up including Venturous, five-times successful here. The latter had Judicial just behind when scoring here last month but isn't certain to confirm the form with the veteran on these terms. EJTILAAB (NAP) appears to be getting better with age. He won here last summer and followed two fine runs at Meydan with a dominant front-running performance at Kempton last month and will be difficult to beat in that kind of form. Spycatcher is a very consistent performer at this sort of level and landed a Listed race at Lingfield with Good Effort over a length back in third. Harry's Bar returned from a fruitless trip to Dubai with a victory over the minimum at Dundalk.
