Verdict
Savalas was due to run at Lingfield yesterday and had earlier finished behind third-placed El Hombre at Wolverhampton. But the latter looks high enough in the weights and better was expected from Storm Over at Newcastle last time when finishing behind Concierge having been narrowly beaten by KATHEEFA before that. The latter went on to score again at Southwell recently and Ruth Carr’s grey looks worth sticking with in his current form. Lancelot Du Lac is not the force of old on the all-weather and slips further down the weights while Calder Prince needs further to show his best nowadays
