Verdict

Lincoln Blue and Asmund carry winner's penalties with the latter, who has only been out of a place once in eight starts, looking the pick after a comfortable victory at Newcastle. Kuwait Direction would be the form pick on his efforts in mid-summer though disappointed at Newmarket on his return after a break. Story Of Light has been gelded since a disappointing run when favourite at York in May so this can go to DANCIN INTHESTREET. William Haggas' filly made the running until headed and beaten inside the final furlong over 7f at Newmarket and that should have brought her on enough to go one better.
