      Verdict

      A Group 2 winner in South Africa, COLD AS ICE ran well in a conditions race behind Lamar at Wolverhampton on her debut for the Haggas yard and first start since January. She may yet prove overrated with a mark of 110 but is taken to get the better of Intransigent in this. The latter has decent claims with a repeat of his recent placed efforts at Kempton and has the beating of Arnold Lane, who in turn, has the measure of Georgian Bay and Outer Space on recent form. Realize also has a bit find on these terms with French raider and recent Deauville winner Borsakov perhaps proving best of the rest.
