      Verdict

      ARKANSAS SLIM was sent off at 100/1 at Lingfield but improved for the step up to 7f and finished a decent fourth. This further step up in trip will suit and he can confirm running with Special Code and land this. Virtual Reality looks a threat with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back here after a debut third at Wolverhampton and Vale Of Iron showed a big improvement at Lingfield last time. Both newcomers are related to winners with Golden Highway just preferred to Bridey's Lettuce.
