In depth
Verdict
Wolverhampton winner Lexington Empire failed to cope with a 6lb rise last time and Four Fifty Three returned a losing favourite off today’s mark having won over a mile here earlier. Lulu Star went close over track and trip recently but has had plenty of chances and Median is preferred now handicapping for the first time but another handicap newcomer, DISTANT CHIMES, makes more appeal. He’s not figured in three starts over 7f in novice company but this longer trip should see him in a better light given he’s just the type Sir Mark Prescott excels with.
