        Verdict

        SPENNITHORNE (NAP) won a maiden race over today's trip at Wolverhampton before going close again over 5f here last time on her handicap debut. The Godolphin filly gets the vote ahead of Andar and Cosmopolitan Girl, both runner-up recently in maiden company. The latter is preferred of that pair on her recent second over track and trip. Aberlady disappointed at Yarmouth last time but the more experienced Heraldic and Archimedes have the past form to figure in this grade.
