        Verdict

        Fine Example looked as though a longer trip would suit when outpaced over 7f at Thirsk but Port Paradise was in touch for a long way before fading over this trip on soft ground at Ascot. REMAAN led for a long way before fading in the closing stages at Newmarket. He should now be at his peak and can make all though both Wilde Extravagance and Yorkee Mo Sabee have shown enough to provide danger. Chempedak Bay may prove best of the newcomers as he's a half-brother to the useful two-year-old Group 3 winner Tawhid.
