Three-year-olds have a decent record in the race so Rashash, who couldn't handle heavy going at Epsom last time, is one to note as he had previously looked progressive. Another from the same generation, Casterbridge, scored at this level at Haydock in July and has competed in higher grade since but course winner Straits Of Malacca has so far failed to take advantage of a slide down the weights. Imperial Legend hasn't won for two years but has slipped to a fair mark as a consequence but in a tricky contest it's RUBY'S DAY who gets the nod as though not the most consistent of sprinters she pops up every now and then when in the mood and has won from a higher mark in the past.
