    Verdict

DOMINUS represents last year’s winning yard having been caught in the closing stages over 7f at Leicester when attempting to make all. He has a fitness advantage over the returning Hero Hero, who made a promising start when runner-up over 6f at Doncaster in November. Both Maid For Life and Invincible Larne disappointed on their latest outings but a couple of newcomers are worth noting. The Godolphin colt Ice Cave cost 375,000gns as the second foal of a Group 1 winner while Jubiloso is out of a Listed winner and could go well with Sir Michael Stoute’s yard among the winners recently.
