        Verdict

        ABLE JACK (NAP) won off a higher mark here at this time last year and a recent placed effort over course and distance behind the progressive Lion Hearted suggests Stuart Williams’ charge can return to winning ways. He finished ahead of Samphire Coast last time but Bacacarat, a winner at Newmarket in August, looks a bigger threat returning to a mile after a couple of modest efforts over 1m2f. Top Mission is another dropping back down in distance with Ryan Moore on board while novice winner Labrega has been off the track since last summer and headgear is added for her reappearance.
