      Verdict

      Praeceps beat previous winner Construct when scoring over 1m4f at Salisbury last month and has won again since. But he finished last of three over today’s distance last week and is now 11lb higher than his latest success. ARTARMON never threatened in Class 2 company over 2m at Musselburgh last time but won nicely over 1m6f at Sandown before that and Michael Bell’s charge gets another chance back at this level. Needs To Be Seen and Konigin have more scope than most but the remainder have been in woeful form of late.
