      Verdict

      Six Strings won at Catterick the last time he raced over today’s trip but remains 8lb higher while Nick Vedder hasn’t won since the start of the year and showed no improvement at Doncaster on his first outing after switching yards. EXCELLENT GEORGE (NAP) has suffered a couple of narrow-margin defeats recently under the in-form apprentice Marco Ghiani and looks to have been found an easier task today. With Caution is not badly treated if forgiven a poor effort last time and is preferred to both Consequences and Johnny Reb.
