Verdict

Unit of Assessment finally opened his account when successful at Wolverhampton recently having slipped down the weights but Buckland Beau is preferred on a recent narrow-margin defeat over track and trip. Captain Pugwash won over 7f here last month but has plenty to prove over today’s distance while Squire ran well at Lingfield in between poor efforts at Kempton. MULLARKEY (NAP) scored over course and distance on his penultimate start but had his way blocked at Kempton last time when about to make a challenge. He’s worth another chance with normal luck in-running and gets the nod.
