    In depth

    Verdict

Samovar has shown his best form at Southwell so far and landed a double with his latest success. GRANDFATHER TOM ran way below par when last of four behind the aforementioned on his Fibresand debut but Bob Cowell’s colt had notched a hat-trick with victories at Lingfield and Newcastle before that and he gets the nod to confirm earlier running with Wiff Waff back on the Polytrack today. Becker opened his account at Kempton back in January and is preferred to the frustrating Midsummer Knight while Kodiac Express looks high enough in the weights back in a handicap for this.
