        Verdict

        BUCKINGHAM showed promise on his racecourse debut when third at Newmarket and finishing well ahead of Mohogany. He should go close with normal progress. Um Shama also made a good start when second at Kempton but failed to build on that with a disappointing effort at Leicester and Where's Perle is preferred on her debut second at Wolverhampton. Probability and Pass The Gin make most appeal of the newcomers.
