Verdict

This looks one of the more competitive races on the card even though it has one of the smallest entries. Seven of the eight won between the flags last month and only Ballyeightra Cross looks to be facing a stiff task at the weights. Kirkleigh disappointed on his latest start under Rules, however, while Doctor Kingsley, Surenaga and Arbour Hill may lack the scope of some of their younger rivals. Ravethebrave represents one of the country's leading point-to-point yards and has already won twice over regulation fences but BATU FERRINGHI is on a real roll and fancied to score again under the excellent Josh Guerriero.
