Verdict

DOLOS ran well for a long way behind stablemate Greaneteen in a Grade 2 at Exeter last month. He’s only 4lb higher than when winning a similar contest to this at Sandown last season. Thyme White, another Paul Nicholls runner, finished ahead of Third Time Lucki at Ascot three weeks ago having won a Grade 3 at that track earlier when Gumball was only fourth. Editeur Du Gite is 6lb higher than when making all in this last year but he does attack this course with relish and should give a bold sight again. The Widdow Maker looks to be running into form and is probably the pick of the remainder.
