Fayette County finally got off the mark over fences at Worcester last month and the booking of Jamie Codd is a positive. Troika Steppes and Ali Stirling galloped their rivals silly in a similar race over course and distance last month and will no doubt try and make all again, despite a 9lb hike in the ratings. Tony Martin's Our Sox is lurking at the foot of the weights while top weight Silvergrove was third in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir here in March under Tom David. Capard King could go well if in the mood but David Pipe could hold the key to this. The Nicholshayne handler runs three but WHAT A MOMENT could be the one to be on as he is sure to have learnt plenty from his second at Aintree, where the first two pulled well clear.
