Verdict

From seven entries, Willie Mullins relies on Limini and last year’s winner VROUM VROUM MAG. The pair will probably dominate the betting and also the race itself as the latter looked in need of the run when beaten by Apple's Jade on her reappearance at Fairyhouse. She struggled to beat Midnight Jazz at Doncaster in January but Paul Townend nursed her home in the end and she’ll be cherry-ripe now as she bids for an encore. Limini is a big danger, however, as she beat Apple's Jade and Rock On The Moor at Punchestown last month and easily won the Grade 2 mares’ novice hurdle at this meeting 12 months ago, though a strongly-run race may test her stamina. Jer's Girl won at the highest level at Fairyhouse and Punchestown last spring and reverts to her best trip so may be the pick of the remainder as the home team look to have a bit to find. Lifeboat Mona and Colin's Sister are both unbeaten this term, however, and shouldn’t be dismissed out of hand while a deluge would make recent Warwick winner Rons Dream an each-way proposition at a big price.
