Verdict
Tucacas can defy topweight here over Cool Spice, Nas Na Riogh and Supreme Serenade. Martin Pipe's mare has been in very good form this season, winning three of her last four starts and despite having to give weight away all round, has the class and experience to prevail. Her last visit here was not very fruitful as she was hampered in running and lost all chance, after which she was given a rest and duly bounced back with a comfortable success at Plumpton four days ago. If none the worse for that, she should play a leading role today. Nas Na Riogh won a Grade 1 juvenile hurdle at Chepstow two years ago but has not lived up to expectations since. She was put over fences this season but has been in action over timber since, at Wetherby where she was a beaten favourite. She may be best watched here but it would be no surprise if she were to be involved in the finish. Cool Spice may be a bigger danger judged on an emphatic success at Taunton, although obviously this is going to be a lot tougher. Supreme Serenade is miss consistency personified and has plenty of scope to do even better, while Petite Margot and Mantilla are not out of it. Neil Graham does not have many jumpers and the fact that he runs Rose Tea should be noted. She is likely to need this return though and far better claims are held by Tucacas under Tony McCoy.
