In depth
Verdict
Golden Odyssey lines up in more form than most and can score again at the expense of Pearly Bay, Countess Point and Harringay to name but three. Mary Reveley, due to retire at the end of the season, looks to have found son Keith something to work on in the future with Golden Odyssey, already successful twice in three starts. Her two wins, at Doncaster and Market Rasen, will ensure that she has the edge in fitness and experience, and she also has the help of Tony McCoy, who rode her last time. Pearly Bay did nothing wrong on her Bangor debut, nor did Harringay at Huntingdon. Countess Point is another with experience and may be placed at least, and Lady Dynamite can improve. Of the newcomers, Peruvian Princess and Seeking Shelter both come from yards that do well in this sphere, but Golden Odyssey has obvious claims and is the one to be on in the finale.
