In depth

Verdict

Plenty of pace on which should suit AMBER BROOK. One of two for the yard, this mare is ridden by stable jockey Paddy Brennan and she should be able to win off this mark of 140 despite getting on in years. David Pipe has a strong hand with AP McCoy a notable booking for the wilful Battle Group, whilst Hills Of Aran looked promising when seen 488 days ago and he is not to be discounted on this return, although fences may await after this run. Markington's recent flat form has dropped away, and a bigger threat should be Chester Lad who looked a novice going places last season. King's Forest looks fairly handicapped, and along with Viking Blond, King Ar Aghaidh and Earth Dream is not to be discounted.
