Verdict
Bal de Nuit has looked a fair sort all season and he had every chance when taking a crashing fall last time out behind Atum Re. If he has recovered from those exertions he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Red Halo looked a promising sort when winning his first two starts but he was very disappointing at Plumpton last time out. However his stable is back in top form now and the market may prove the best guide as to what is expected. Mistanoora could also go well, however he was put in his place last time out at Aintree last time and his best efforts have come with more cut in the ground. Navale also has chances on his best form but he gives the impression he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Master Papa is another from the Twiston -Davies yard and it is interesting that Carl Llewellyn rides him in preference to Mistanoora so he is worth a look in the market. The remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
