Verdict
Bonusprint Stayers' Hurdle third It Takes Time was a progressive performer last season, which ended with a two-length success over Sudden Shock in the Bet.Watch.Live Attheraces Hurdle at Sandown Park's finale meeting. Raised another 1lb since then, Martin Pipe's representative has to be respected but faces no easy task under the burden of 11st 12lbs. Stablemate Carlovent found it difficult to trouble the judge last term and has been done few favours by the handicapper, so it may pay to look elsewhere. Alan King's Spendid ran creditably in defeat behind Brother Joe at Wetherby on his reappearance but it is unlikely that, at the age of 10, he has much improvement in him. Do It On Dani has gone up 13lbs for winning a couple of weak races. This is tougher, especially off his new mark. Chepstow winner Springfield Scally has claims but is often best caught fresh. Surprising has a long absence to overcome but that should not be a problem as Philip Hobbs has his string in good form at present but the TEAMtalk selection has to be Yeoman's Point. Christie Roache's six-year-old was an impressive winner of Chepstow's Tote Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle over 2m4f last week. A 9lb rise for that is fair and, if staying this longer trip, he looks the one to be on again.
