A competitive field goes to post for this handicap hurdle but a chance is taken on Blue Ride. The mare, from the bang in form Paul Nicholls yard was a good third behind Ar Muin Muice last time under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort would see her go close. Miss Cool rates the main danger. She won well when defeating Columbus at Haydock last time out. However she may find the concession of 14 lbs to Blue Ride just beyond her. Deep Sunset was a good second behind Cita Verda at Ayr on her return to hurdles, but she gave the impression she was still in the handicappers grip and for that reason she is readily opposed. Blackchurch Mist would also be worthy of consideration on her best form but her best efforts have come with more cut in the ground and she disappointed on fast ground last time. Jollie Bollie is sure to run her race again but although she travels well in her races she does not always find as much as is expected off the bridle. Of the Remainder Spaghetti Junction is on a fair mark and is from a yard in top form and she could run well at a big price.
