Verdict

Some lightly raced and potentially smart performers in opposition in an intriguing finale but Rhinestone Cowboy sets a high standard and gets the TEAMtalk vote. Jonjo O'Neill's charge made a winning debut at Ascot last term before being narrowly denied in a Grade 1 event at the Festival. The son of Be My Native was unlucky not to prevail on the latter occasion as he was persistently hampered by the winner in the closing stages and can gain compensation here before making an impact in novice events. Liberman and Phar From Fair have shown useful winning form already this season but both may struggle to concede weight to the selection while previous winners Inca Trail and Nil Desperandum need to have progressed significantly to trouble the judge at this level.
