Verdict

FINIAN’S OSCAR wasn’t foot-perfect at Chepstow but still won in a canter. One of last season’s top novice hurdlers, he has the potential to be even better over fences so is taken to double his tally despite giving 8lb to his rivals. Movewiththetimes jumped well for a novice and wasn’t given a hard time behind North Hill Harvey here last month. He’s another nice prospect as is William Henry, a dual hurdles winner with a very solid track record. He will have had plenty of schooling while Coo Star Sivola looked in need of the run when favourite on his reappearance and did finish ahead of a subsequent winner.
