    Verdict

Katchmore comes here off the back of wide-margin wins at Taunton and Exeter and will probably make a bold bid to defy a subsequent 14lb weight rise. Amtired hasn't done a lot wrong lately and should be thereabouts again but Trip The Light probably needs a softer surface and Star In Flight dropped away tamely off this mark at Haydock last time. Gina Andrews may be able to get a tune out of Teshali but the partnership could be too close in the weights to the four-year-old CAPTAIN SHARPE, who has a decent record on good ground and deserves another success. In good heart, he made a mockery of a generous starting price when third at Ascot last time and this is no tougher.
