Verdict

Baden took a while to take to fences but beat a subsequent winner when fitted with cheekpieces in an amateurs’ race at Sandown last month and wears the aids again. Nicky Henderson’s grey will probably start favourite but might struggle to get the better of OZZY THOMAS (NAP), who boasts a decent level of form and possibly needed the run when only third at Market Rasen in February. Tanarpino has place claims again and Kelvingrove opened his account over the larger obstacles at Taunton in December. Red Infantry bolted up at Warwick last month but Nightline has every chance of reversing earlier Doncaster running on the form book. Pure Vision is a law unto himself but is no forlorn hope if in the mood.
