    Verdict

The Carpenter has won both starts over hurdles and there should be plenty more to come while Friday Man just came up short when on a hat-trick in a Listed contest at Limerick when last seen. Fitness shouldn’t be an issue for Gordon Elliott’s raider and Chasing Fire is respected upped in trip despite failing to make an impact in last month’s Supreme Novices’. RED DIRT ROAD was conceding 6lb to the winner and useful third Cuthbert Dibble when second on heavy ground at Leicester two runs ago and was impressive on a quicker surface at Exeter subsequently. A winner between the flags last year, he’ll have no problem with this extra half-mile. Theatre Man has done nothing but improve and shouldn’t be far away but Rock My Way, pulled up in last month’s Albert Bartlett, has to give his rivals 4lb and upwards courtesy of a Grade 2 win here in January.
