Verdict
All four of these made winning debuts over fences and Capitaine went one better when scoring again at Market Rasen last month. Paul Nicholls has won six of the nine renewals but his charge found RIVER WYLDE too good over hurdles in the Grade 2 Dovecote at Kempton back in February. The latter finished a creditable third in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle here subsequently and landed the odds at Uttoxeter on his chasing bow with a decent display of jumping. Ozzie The Oscar was less fluent when scoring at Warwick but North Hill Harvey fought back well to win by a neck over course and distance on his recent chasing debut having won the Greatwood Hurdle on this card last year and he can figure in an intriguing contest.
