Pessimistic Dick is the choice here with Un Jour A Vassy, Dunster Castle, Twisted Logic and Uncle Mick also worthy of consideration. The selection is a course and distance winner who relishes it around here, and he won well when beating Francolino last time. He is a sound jumper and will take a good deal of beating. Dunster Castle represents the main danger but he was well beaten behind Spread The Word last time. Un Jour A Vassy should also go well but he looked as though he had lost his spark for the game when finishing behind Take The Stand at Newton Abbot last time. He has had a break since then so looks to have decent each-way claims here. Twisted Logic and Uncle Mick both ran really well behind Take The Stand in a different race at Chepstow earlier this month and they should again run their races here. This looks quite competitive and several would have chances on their best form, but we will side with Pessimistic Dick.
