In depth
Verdict
Bright Approach, who is a useful hunter chaser and won this last year, and Lord Atterbury, so impressive when winning at Aintree, can dominate this, with the vote going to the former. He was also second in the Foxhunter Chase, a race in which Quetal was a slightly disappointing thirteenth. Quetal remains a promising hunter chaser, having won the same novice event at Aintree last year that Lord Atterbury, who will be ridden by the Aintree Chairman Lord Daresbury's son, Tom Greenall.
