In depth

Verdict

Whispering Harry’s second at Plumpton was his best run for a while. He was raised 3lb for that but is still well treated on past form. Caprice D'anglais wasn’t beaten far back over fences at Leicester on his first run for new connections and it will be interesting to see how One Style fares running over the larger obstacles for the first time in this country but we’ll take a chance on ARQUEBUSIER. Eased again in the weights since an improved fourth at Warwick, Emma Baker’s charge would be a shoe-in if able to recapture the form he showed around this time last year. Bredon Hill Lad is aiming for a third win in four starts but has never won off a mark this high and Market Road has done all of his winning in Class 5 events so far, though is still unexposed over fences.
