In depth

Verdict

The progressive E STREET BOY looks the one to beat. David Pipe's hurdler got off the mark at Wincanton last Sunday before following up at Hereford during the week and looks to be getting off light with a 7lb penalty here before the handicapper has his say. Speedy Directa also makes a quick reappearance after victory at Hereford on Wednesday and Gainsborough Boy won at the same track on his latest start. Crackerjack Boy produced his best effort so far when runner-up over 2m here three weeks ago, while Lightening Fire is 9lb higher than when scoring at this track on his penultimate start.
