In depth

Verdict

A winner at Warwick on his debut, Russe Blanc has a penalty to overcome today, as does Themilanhorse, who scored at Newton Abbot last month. The latter looks capable of better still but may find GLOBAL FELLA too good. Nicky Henderson's charge was beaten only a length by Medinas on his debut at Newbury and can take this with normal improvement. Grove Pride also made a promising debut when second at Cork in November and has since joined Henry Daly, while Noble Perk was runner-up over C&D in January and is one of many alternatives to consider in an open race.
