Verdict

Beau Bay’s first preference today is a race at Plumpton but he would have every chance if turning up here instead. Tornado In Milan has found a new lease of life and is on a hat-trick after victories here and at Ludlow, though Overtown Express has every chance of reversing recent form on 10lb better terms. Ubaltique seems to reserve his best form for Haydock and Sizing Platinum is still 8lb higher than when winning at Newton Abbot in October. BRIGHT NEW DAWN was running well off higher marks around this time last year. His latest run at Cheltenham suggests all is not yet lost and he can finally win a race for the first time since joining the Venetia Williams yard.
