Verdict
With five of the octet joint top-rated on official ratings this looks something of a puzzle. GIRL OF CADIZ is only a hopeful choice especially having been tailed off last time behind Auction in a useful Newmarket handicap. That was just too bad to be true though and she houses perfectly decent claims if forgiven that run on her previously consistent profile with this drop to sprinting also expected to suit. Duke of Orange is another with claims at his best but he too requires forgiveness of a major disappointment last time. Nellie Bly is becoming impossible to predict and the relatively unexposed New Rich is preferred.
