Verdict
Hadath has been in sparkling form on the all-weather of late but faces no easy task on his return to turf especially from stall seven and it may be best to concentrate on those drawn near the stands side rails with the vote going to Indian Edge over Dan di Canio. The last mentioned has the plum drawn stall 20 but has yet to prove his effectiveness under today's conditions and Tony Newcombe's gelding may be best watched at present. Calusa Lady should handle the ground but lacks a recent run, while Jahia has only one banded stakes race success to her name and has shown little on turf. Mister Muja and My Girl Pearl are of interest but face no easy task from their draws and preference is for Indian Edge. Bryn Palling's gelding could hardly be better berthed than in stall 19, has ground conditions to suit and comes here in decent form.
