Verdict
WAR CHIEF was very impressive at Salisbury in October and should be capable of better still this year. Habbad won a nursery in the autumn and Arctic Sea won an all-weather maiden recently and goes handicapping for the first time but that pair are more exposed than Gold Award, who was flying too high in a Group 3 at Newbury after winning at Goodwood. Quandary Peak and Fastnet Spin lost their way last year and are best watched until showing signs of a revival.
