Not the easiest of races to get involved with and the selection of Annijaz is made in the hope that David Kinsella can initiate a return to form from this tough and mainly consistent mare. Tuscarora and Ivy Moon are others that come into the argument on the best of their efforts and have to be given plenty of respect if money arrives to support their claims. Whereas Toccata Aria, for whom Darryll Holland is an interesting booking, has to be given a second look in the betting to confirm which of Milton Bradley's charges are the better fancied. The drop in trip may not be absolutely ideal for the six-year-old and she may be one to be wary of here. This course and distance holds no fears for Annijaz though and, as she is likely to represent the better value, she gets the nod today.
