Verdict

Beaufort West has been highly tried since finishing second at Sandown last February and it would be no surprise to see take advantage of this drop in grade. Jack Valentine and Adjourned both started favourite on their respective latest runs but the latter weakened before the last when only third at Ffos Las while the former was beaten when falling at Huntingdon. EXELERATOR EXPRESS is bred for jumping so did well to finish a close second in both outings in bumpers. He can make a winning start over timber ahead of fellow debutant Falberto.
