In depth
Verdict
Cotopaxi will have plenty of friends here, coming from a stable that boasts a tremendous level stakes profit over the past 10 years. He has done nothing but improve since moving from Ireland, winning three of his five outings over hurdles. He was no slouch on the Flat either, finding only Mana d'Argent too good at Ascot, and as he lines up here rather than on the level at Doncaster or from out of the handicap at Wincanton, the hint should be taken. Philip Hobbs' Tensile and Young American who will come on for his reappearance, are taken as the main dangers, but TEAMtalk cannot oppose Cotopaxi.
