In depth

Verdict

Yankee Jamie was reported as having a breathing problem when pulled up on his seasonal reappearance but was a progressive sort last term and is the TEAMtalk selection to bounce back to form. Lennie Lungo's charge was impressive when landing back-to-back handicaps at Kelso last winter and, being lightly raced, there should be further improvement to come from the son of Strong Gale. Kedge Anchor Man will relish the cut in the ground but is 8lb higher than his previous success and may need the outing. Miss Lacroix was below her best last time but remains on a handy mark and has claims on her Fontwell victory in August while Circle Of Wolves will be sharper for his recent return and merits close inspection on his handicap debut.
