Verdict
Not a strong race for the prize money on offer and it is hard to look beyond Roberty Bob who gets the TEAMtalk nod. Henry Daly's charge has proved effective in the mud and has won his last three starts over fences in the manner of a most progressive performer and can defy the handicapper off his current mark before tackling better company. Tom's Prize ended last season in some style by landing a Stratford novice but this is tougher and he lacks a recent outing as does Storm Damage. The latter was disappointing when last seen in April but had previously scored over course and distance (now 5lb higher) and has claims if able to reproduce the same level of form.
