In depth

Verdict

Tessa was a 26,000gns yearling and is out of a winning miler. Nothing went right for Brave Emperor at Beverley and the Sioux Nation colt will know more today. Mustango finished second at Brighton but was no match for an easy winner. Desperate Hero also found only one too good at Goodwood and will be fancied to go one better but GIRLSWANNHAVEFUN showed good pace at Salisbury and is a viable alternative.
