Verdict

JACQUELINA has been brought along steadily and rewarded the patience of connections here just over a week ago under an excellent from-the-front ride by Josephine Gordon. A 6lb rise is fine and the lightly-raced filly is expected to improve again with trip and conditions in her favour. Rhubarb is the prime threat as she was only a length behind the selection that day, is now 4lb better off and has a good record at this tricky straight course. Desert showed her first form of note for current connections since moving from Richard Hannon when a length third here in a Class 5 sprint and can play a part once again. She also drops a level in grade. Shesadabber is usually in the mix in such contests and is respected. Fair And Square is 0-36 but has nine runner-up efforts and is an each-way play.
