Verdict
The front-running Abbadia went close in a handicap over track and trip last month while Leap Day also races prominently and was beaten only a nose in maiden company here last time. The drop down to 6f at Southwell didn’t suit ROGUE SOLDIER on his latest start but breeding suggests this stiff 7f should play more to his strengths and Tom Clover’s charge gets the vote. Letaba never figured when third at Nottingham and Bush Rose was well beaten here last year while From Beyond returns to action fitted with a tongue-tie.
