    Verdict

A competitive contest gets proceedings under way and any have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Observer, Aastral Magic and Dahteer, and the tentative cote goes to Observer. The selection won well on his debut when defeating Norcroft. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and if the first time visor brings out some more improvement he will be hard to beat. Aastral Magic rates the main danger he also won well on his debut when defeating Shaheer and is another sure to improve. Dahteer is another that could go well he won well last time out when defeating Silver Wraith and that form has since been franked but this looks more competitive and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Edge Fund has shown enough to date to suggest he can win a race of this nature but for the winner we return to Observer.
